"Lacrymaria"
This is a photo of Lacrymaria, one of the most amazing creatures in existence. It has the uncanny ability to stretch its neck to an amazing degree. Here you can see that its neck is stretched to about six times its body length and it can stretch it even farther! Normally, Lacrymaria's neck is about equal in length to its body. The body in this speciman is about 100 microns long.
